It’s the last Art & Wine Walk of the year today, and I’ll be in my usual spot at O’Really’s Irish Pub in downtown Grand Forks from 1 ‘til 5! See you there!

This month I'm participating in Inktober (an ink drawing every day) and Drawlloween (drawing from specific topic prompts every day) AND something I'm calling Daily Dracula, where I make the above incorporate the count who counts. Here's the second set!

Small Press Expo

This weekend I'll have the pleasure of exhibiting at the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, Maryland, sharing a table with Andrew Ihla and Tanya Burr! Whoa!

I'll have comics, prints, and original art! Andrew is debuting his novella and his comic, Paradoxicals (with Joe Hunter!) Tanya is debuting her new comic, Jenny Rockwell and the Menace of the Mothman!

We'll be at table I-12! Hope to see you there!

Disney Dissected

I've started a podcast with Andrew Ihla where we talk about Disney animated features! We call it Disney Dissected, and won't you give it a listen?

Let's Go Crazy!

Today, DeadShirt.net has begun a series of retrospective essay’s, looking back on Prince’s masterpiece album Purple Rain, track-by-track. And they asked me to illustrate one of the essays, so here’s my take on the album’s opening track, “Let’s Go Crazy”. I conceived and executed this piece entirely independent of Max Robinson’s essay, so I guess this is not so much an illustration of his thoughts, as it is a parallel analysis of my own, presented side-by-side.
